Historic Restoration

With our roots being in Newport, RI, it stands to reason that we would be experienced in historic restoration. Our meticulous attention to detail and our respect for historic preservation standards has earned us a reputation that is second to none. Over the years we have developed proprietary practices that have earned the respect of preservationists around the country. Most recently we helped guide the restoration of Carter’s Grove Plantation in historic Williamsburg, Virginia, a stunning Georgia Style home built in the 1750’s predating the Revolutionary and Civil Wars. At Hull Cove, no preservation project is too large or too small.

Custom Designed Homes

Hull Cove has designed many of New England’s finest custom homes over the years. Each project is different and must reflect the unique vision of the owner. Listening carefully to the owner’s goals and dreams is the first job. Then we put our designers to work to turn those dreams into reality. Once we receive the owners design approval we get busy with detailed material specifications so the builder can provide an accurate estimate and get off the ground quickly upon project approval.

Renovations and Remodeling

Hull Cove has been in business since 2007 and has great experience in design, renovation and remodeling. Equally as important, our reputation is impeccable and our list of references is extensive.

When remodeling a home, it is common that the actual construction work will need to be done while the building or home is occupied. Getting the design done correctly from the outset is critical to minimize the inconvenience to the owner. It is also important to specify the best materials for the job so that there are no needless delays in the build out phase. Additions can present many unique design challenges. One major challenge is to design the project so it blends in with the existing structure and surroundings - even when the functionality of the new structure may be quite different from the existing structure.
